Back in the day…rocks were a place of safety.
They provided protection from the enemy and a shield from the weather. They provided a place of refugee to regain strength before continuing on their journey. It was a safe place and a place to rest.
Today, God is our Rock. He will protect you from the enemy and shield you from the storm. He will renew your strength and your courage to continue on this journey of life. When you are tired he will give you rest.
Lean on the Father today and let Him be your rock. Run to Him in your time of need, talk to Him, tell Him what is on your mind, and trust Him to deliver you from what you are facing.
The Lord is my rock,
and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength,
in whom I will trust; my buckler,
and the horn of my salvation,
and my high tower.
Psalms 18:2
